Vinyl Printing
Heat transfers are done using vinyl which is cad-cut and then pressed onto the garments using a heat press. There are two methods: Firstly, using standard colours, which we cut and press in-house, or secondly, full-colour heat-flex vinyls, which are digitally printed in high resolution, then pressed on. Vinyl is used extensively in the promotional industry to brand garments such as football shirts (numbers), individual names, t-shirts and many more. It is also useful for safety wear, as reflective vinyl can be used. Both methods are durable and wash really well. Vinyl transfers are especially useful for small runs, as they can often eliminate the setup costs of screen printing. Vinyl can be applied to cotton or polyester fabrics.
Artwork
For standard colours (eg: football shirt numbers), your artwork should preferably be supplied in vector format. With digitally printed vinyls, the artwork can be in vector format or a high quality image. An electronic proof of the printing will be emailed to you for approval before we go ahead with your order.
Turnaround Times
We usually work on a 5 working-day turnaround, depending on the size of your order. However, we do work around customers’ deadlines and will always try accommodate early delivery times.
